Spencer Keith - Spencer Keith is 6 foot 2 inch, 182 pound pro-style quarterback (rivals.com) for the Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR) Bruins.
In the 2007 - 2008 high school football season, Spencer led the Bruins to a 9-2-1 record and the conference championship. The Bruins then made it to the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
What's Next? - Spencer threw for 4,768 yard and 51 touchdowns last season. He is being actively pursued by several colleges, including that of his home state, the University of Arkansas. There is every expectation that he will have another incredible season.
That's What - In his senior year, Spencer Keith has led his team to a state championship. The 13 - 1 Bruins avenged their sole loss by defeating Helena - West Helena 35 - 32. Keith was named game MVP by throwing for 244 yards and 2 TDs. Over half of those yards came in the first quarter. He rounded out that performance by rushing for 87 yards and another touchdown. To top it all off, Spencer set the state record for the most passing yards in a season. He finished with 5,308 yards; topping the previous mark of 5,272 yards; which was set by a former Bruin QB, Thomas Thrash. Pulaski Academy moves on to the State Championship game after downing Greenwood, 54 - 24. Spencer threw for 515 yards, adding to the team's total of 747 - a school record. Read more about it here (Pulaski Academy Athletics).
The Bruins will face powerhouse Helena - West Helena, the only team that has bested Pulaski Academy this year. The game will be held in War - Memorial Stadium, December 6, at 6:30 PM. Go Bruins!

Spencer led his Bruins in a first round playoff rout of Alma, winning by a score of 63 - 39. Pulaski Academy is set to face Beebe this Friday.
